Jennie Bate is a registered primary school teacher, youth worker, artist, mother, and owner of Kōwhai Art Studio. She has been teaching art to kids across Whakatū/Nelson in a variety of locations and schools, including The Suter Art Gallery, Nelson Community Potters, and through her school holiday programs at Kōwhai Art Studio (formerly known as ‘Kids Creative Holidays’). Jennie is passionate about creating a vibrant space for kids, young people, and adults to fearlessly embrace their unique creativity.
